Hudson Information Technology for Community Health (HITCH) is a community-based non-profit 501c(3) organization located in Ossining, NY, that promotes high quality care among safety-net primary care providers that enhance access to quality health care for the medically underserved.
Hitch, founded in 2010, is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the provision of high quality health care to communities across New York’s Hudson Valley Region. We work with our sponsors, two federally qualified health centers, Open Door Family Medical Centers, Inc., and Sun River Health, to implement programs that enhance the access to an quality of health care for the medically underserved.
The Cancer Services Program (CSP) of the Hudson Valley, a program of Hitch, works to decrease rates of cancer and cancer deaths among uninsured people living in Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester counties. We provide free breast, cervical and colorectal cancer screening, diagnostic and case management services to eligible uninsured and underinsured people residing in the Hudson Valley.
